The Division of Pulmonology, with sustained support from the institution and extramural sources such as the NIH, has endeavored to create a center of excellence offering comprehensive, state- of-the-art clinical care, educational programs, and cutting-edge research involving clinical, translational, and basic sciences.
Our faculty have broad clinical and research interests, including interstitial lung disease, lung transplantation, neuromuscular diseases, sleep disorders, cystic fibrosis, and asthma. The Division has a strong ACGME-accredited training program in pediatric pulmonology that includes a research component funded by the NHLBI through a T32 Training Grant.
Research
Our researchers, including physician scientists, epidemiologists, statistical geneticists, and basic scientists, are leading the charge against lung illnesses through basic, translational, and clinical research programs.
